Sorry guys, but you’re way over priced. I won’t be eating here again. I paid $20 for your cheeseburger which I felt was worth $12. The indoor atmosphere is great. The outdoor atmosphere is nothing to write home about (unless looking at commercial businesses and traffic is something you enjoy while you’re eating). Bathroom was clean. The hostess and staff were friendly, but the food was nothing to get excited about. I’ve eaten better tasting burgers for less money at OutBack Steakhouse! Rice was dry and flavorless.
This restaurant is dark but looks very beautiful inside. There is a lot of parking outside and outdoor seating options. We came in on a Sunday around 4pm and it was empty, we were seated quickly and the staff was very responsive and respectful. My husband had paella which he was not impressed with and took home, although the presentation was very nice and gave that authentic feel. I had the pernil with white rice and habichuelas. Considering I am Puerto Rican and make this food at home, I know my rice and beans are very much better than this, as there was no taste at all. I did however have a very large portion of meat! Usually you get a lot of rice and no meat, but I was initially so impressed that half of my plate was covered in pernil! I was also surprised that the meal did not come with an "extra" side like most restaurants do, like a maduro or salad; it is the first Spanish restaurant I have been to that did not. Honestly, I probably won't come again since the food was expensive for the small amount of rice and beans, and the lack of flavor in everything. But I am glad I came and tried them and the place is beautiful. I wish them well and I hope that they season their food a little bit and show Warwick what amazing food Puerto Rican cuisine really is.
It was a very nice place like the outdoor too. The waitress was good at her job thump up. This Jackie and the crew 6-10-23 we will see ya again.
Pricey dishes, Seafood Paella is great and a huge portion (single person). Empanadas were really good…but skip the skewers! $12.95 for a single skewer…not worth it. Yuca fries are delicious! Found food too salty for our taste. Maybe others prefer it…. Very friendly service! 3.5% non cash surcharge…
Went with a group for my birthday celebration. I have been several times and loved it. We had to park across the street because the lot was full. The appetizers and drinks were good but the entrees were eh. My Mahi Mahi was way overcooked and my husband's pork was dry. Friends who ordered steak and pernil said it was great. And the drinks were MUCH pricier than anticipated for small glasses. Not sur eif the chef had changed but I remember it being much better before. I will be back as I love the atmosphere and DJ night but I will not be ordering anything but the steak from now on.
Enjoyed my meal (shrimp a La coquito with yuca fries), a glass of sangria and the atmosphere. Food was excellent!
The restaurant had a nice vibe. It was nice that it stayed open till 9pm on a Sunday..since we were visiting from the city we are Not used to things closing so early. Has the vibe of a city restaurant. Well furnished and clean. Bathroom well maintained. Nice music. Drinks were good. Servers were friendly. Will definitely return whenever we visit the area
Been back here once since new owners took over, and now again. Food is always great for us, but was surprised at the enormous rise in prices, top dollar $$$$ (and we are out all the time). Portions could be more, but quality is great. Service is always wonderful and they have a nice outside in the shade.
